Science
Students from class 1 to 6 of both morning and day shifts are guided and facilitated by Department of Science of MDIC. Promoting students’ scientific habits of mind, developing their capability to engage in scientific enquiry and teaching students how to reason in a scientific context are the main concern of this department. The curriculum of science encourages and enables students to:
- Develop inquiring minds and curiosity about science and the natural world.
- Acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills to solve problems
- Communicate scientific ideas
- think analytically, critically and creatively
The faculty members of this department teach students with great care and try to make them interested in modern science and technology. At present nine (9) experienced faculty members are working hard for illuminating the tender hearts of the students with knowledge of different fields of science.
To facilitate the students, this department has a well-equipped Science lab with all the modern facilities. Our students achieved awards in different competitions and science Olympiads in Inter School, National and International levels.
