Art
Art and crafts activities help to instill a sense of achievement and pride in children, boosting their self-confidence. The opportunity to create whatever a child desires helps foster creativity and moral development. A child will learn to make correct and effective decisions by facing and solving artistic challenges.
In these aspects, the department of Art and Craft plays a very significant role, MDIC, as an institution, emphasises moral teachings more than textbook knowledge. The students practise art and craft as a compulsory subject up to Class 6. Also, O-level and A-level students can take this as an optional subject. The curricula and syllabi of the etiquette subject is rich and well-designed, including all the necessary topics.
In addition to academic subjects, the department also arranges cultural programs on different occasions. For teaching these subjects and holding different programs, the department has a number of highly qualified, committed, experienced teachers.
