Science

Department of  Science of MDIC was established in 2008. This department is managed and leaded by a group of skilled and enthusiastic faculty members. This department includes classes from class 3 to 6 both in morning and day shift. This department endeavours to promote students’ scientific habits of mind, develop their capability to engage in scientific enquiry and teach students how to reason in a scientific context. It encourages and enables students to:

• Develop inquiring minds and curiosity about science and the natural world.
• Acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills to solve problems
• Communicate scientific ideas
• think analytically, critically and creatively

The faculty members of this department teach students with great care and try to make them interested in modern science and technology. At present seven (7) experienced faculty members are working hard for illuminating the tender hearts of the students with knowledge of different fields of science.

To facilitate the students, this department has a well-equipped Science lab with all the modern facilities for the students of class 3 to 6.

Our students achieved awards in different competitions in Inter School, National and International levels.
